Dr. Chahra Chbili is an accomplished Assistant Professor in Pharmacology at the Higher School of Health Sciences and Techniques of Sousse (ESSTSS), Tunisia. She is an active member of the Research Laboratory of Metabolic Biophysics and Applied Pharmacology (LR/12ES02) at the Faculty of Medicine Ibn El Jazzar of Sousse. Her research spans pharmacogenetics, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic efficacy, contributing significantly to the understanding of drug metabolism and variability in clinical response. With a strong academic and research background, Dr. Chbili has authored 17 scientific publications, which have collectively garnered 138 citations across 123 documents, reflecting her growing influence in biomedical and pharmacological research. She holds an h-index of 7, highlighting the scientific impact and sustained relevance of her work in the field. Her technical expertise includes a wide array of advanced analytical and molecular techniques such as PCR, Real-Time PCR, ELISA, HPLC-MS, UV-Visible Spectrophotometry, and FISH, supporting her investigations into drug-induced toxicity, metabolic pathways, and genetic determinants of therapeutic outcomes. Dr. Chbili earned her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology (2014) with highest honors from the Faculty of Medicine of Sousse, following a Master’s in Genetics and Biodiversity (2008) and a Bachelor’s in Medical Biotechnology (2006). She also gained extensive laboratory experience through multiple research internships in cytogenetics, pathology, biochemistry, and microbiology at the Farhat Hached University Hospital, Sousse. Her professional journey includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher (2019–2023) and Scientific Researcher, contributing to several pharmacological and biochemical research projects. Currently, she continues to lead studies on pharmacogenomic profiling and therapeutic monitoring, promoting innovations in personalized and precision medicine.
