Dr. Withz Aimable is a finance scholar with a Ph.D. in Finance, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, specializing in financial economics, FinTech, and quantitative investing. His research focuses on cryptocurrencies, blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), asset pricing, portfolio and risk management, and the performance of financial institutions, with growing emphasis on ESG integration and green/climate finance. He employs advanced econometric techniques, time-series analysis, and machine learning methods to study market dynamics, financial connectedness, and investor behavior. Dr. Aimable’s doctoral research examined dynamic connectedness in financial markets, contributing to the understanding of spillovers and systemic risk during periods of uncertainty. His current work applies machine learning and data-driven models to stock price prediction and forecasting, aiming to improve investment decision-making and risk assessment. He has published in SSCI-indexed journals, including The North American Journal of Economics and Finance, and has presented his research at international conferences. In addition to academic research, Dr. Aimable has extensive experience as a research assistant and adjunct faculty member at Yuan Ze University, where he has contributed to grant development, empirical research, and finance education. His interdisciplinary approach bridges theory and practice, supporting innovation in modern finance and financial markets research.
