Abstract

Marycarmen Godinez Victoria, affiliated with Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico, is presented in this academic recognition profile as a researcher in medicine. The supplied scholarly record reports 50 documents, 956 citations, and an h-index of 19, alongside researcher identifiers in Google Scholar, Scopus, and ORCID. These indicators offer measurable evidence of scholarly activity and citation visibility, while the broader research record should be interpreted through publication context, methodological contributions, collaborations, and disciplinary relevance.[1] [2] [3]

Keywords

Marycarmen Godinez Victoria; Instituto Politecnico Nacional; Mexico; Medicine; medical research; scholarly publications; research impact; bibliometrics; Google Scholar; Scopus; ORCID; h-index; citations; Global Scientist Day Awards.

Introduction

Academic recognition profiles commonly combine institutional affiliation, disciplinary area, publication activity, citation indicators, and persistent researcher identifiers. Such information helps distinguish researchers with similar names and provides a reproducible framework for describing scholarly records. The supplied profile identifies Marycarmen Godinez Victoria with Instituto Politecnico Nacional, Mexico, and places the research field within medicine. [1] [2]

Research Profile

The supplied research profile identifies Marycarmen Godinez Victoria as a medicine researcher at Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico. The reported record contains 50 documents, 956 citations, and an h-index of 19. Researcher identifiers supplied for this profile include Google Scholar, Scopus Author ID 35104790800, and ORCID 0000-0003-3317-7980, enabling cross-platform scholarly identification. [1] [2] [3]

Research Contributions

The available information establishes a sustained scholarly record in medicine, represented by 50 reported documents and measurable citation activity. These indicators describe the scale and visibility of the indexed research output but do not independently establish the significance of individual studies. A fuller assessment of contributions would consider research questions, methods, findings, collaborations, clinical or scientific relevance, and evidence of subsequent use by other researchers.

Publications

The supplied profile reports 50 scholarly documents associated with the researcher. The available information does not provide a complete publication-by-publication bibliography, journal list, or DOI inventory, so individual publication titles and DOI identifiers are not reproduced here. Scopus, Google Scholar, and ORCID can provide complementary mechanisms for locating and disambiguating publications, although their records may differ because of indexing coverage, author matching, and profile maintenance practices. [1] [2] [3]

Research Impact

The supplied bibliometric record reports 956 citations and an h-index of 19. Citation counts indicate that indexed scholarly works have been referenced by subsequent publications, while the h-index summarizes the relationship between publication count and citation thresholds. Such measures are discipline- and database-dependent and should therefore be considered as descriptive indicators rather than complete measures of research quality, societal relevance, or scientific influence. [1] [2]

Award Suitability

For the Global Scientist Day Awards, the documented profile provides several objective elements that may be relevant to an academic recognition review, including the stated medical research area, institutional affiliation, publication count, citation count, h-index, and persistent researcher identifiers. Final recognition should be determined according to the event’s published eligibility criteria, submission materials, verification procedures, and award committee assessment rather than bibliometric indicators alone. [2] [3]

Conclusion

Marycarmen Godinez Victoria is presented in the supplied academic record as a medicine researcher affiliated with Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico. The reported profile includes 50 documents, 956 citations, and an h-index of 19, supported by Google Scholar, Scopus, and ORCID identifiers.

Prof. Rolf Teschke | Klinikum Hanau | Germany

Rolf Teschke, M.D., Professor of Medicine, is a distinguished German physician and internationally recognized expert in gastroenterology, hepatology, and the complex mechanisms of hepatotoxicity. Born in Gera, he pursued medical studies at the universities of Munich and Marburg, earning his medical degree and completing his inaugural thesis. His early scientific foundation was shaped in pathology, where his interest in liver injury and toxic mechanisms first took root. A pivotal stage of his career unfolded in New York, where he worked under the mentorship of renowned liver specialist Charles S. Lieber. During this period, he conducted influential biochemical research on alcohol-related liver injury, including solubilizing and isolating the microsomal ethanol-oxidizing system and exploring cytochrome P450–related pathways. This work strengthened his commitment to uncovering the biological foundations of hepatotoxicity and decisively shaped his future research direction. Returning to Germany, Professor Teschke continued to advance academically in gastroenterology, hepatology, and infectious diseases at the Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf. He completed his habilitation, received a prestigious university research award, and expanded his clinical and experimental work on alcohol-induced liver damage, hydrocarbon toxicity, and the growing challenge of drug-induced liver injury. As a department director at a major teaching hospital, he further deepened his focus on drug-induced liver injury, contributing significantly to the development and refinement of the RUCAM causality assessment method in collaboration with international experts. His scholarly output is substantial, consisting of more than 250 English-language publications, including books and book chapters. His work has earned 6,890 citations across 4,042 documents, with an h-index of 48, reflecting his strong influence in the global hepatology community. He has served as associate editor of Annals of Hepatology and held editorial roles across numerous leading medical and scientific journals.
