Dr. Anna Kurek-Górecka is a habilitated researcher in medical and health sciences with specialization in pharmacology and pharmacy, and an assistant professor at the Medical University of Silesia, Poland. Her academic and research career focuses on apitherapy, particularly the pharmacological, immunomodulatory, cardioprotective, antimicrobial, and anticancer properties of bee products such as propolis, bee venom, and honey. She has extensive experience in pharmaceutical sciences, microbiology, immunology, dentistry-related research, and natural product therapeutics. Dr. Kurek-Górecka is an active member of numerous national and international scientific societies and serves in leadership roles within apitherapy organizations. She has delivered invited lectures and presentations at major international congresses across Europe, Australia, and Asia. An accomplished author, reviewer, and book contributor, she has also received multiple academic, organizational, and national honors recognizing her scientific excellence and service to health sciences and apiculture-related research.
